However, foreigners need to have permits compulsorily. Without these permits, you cannot enter the Annapurna Conservation Area. Below are the required permits, which are described below:

Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP): When embarking on the Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Tour adventure, you have to fly through the Annapurna Conservation Area, which requires a permit that will fund the conservation of natural beauty in the Annapurna region. The entry fee can be varied depending on where you come from. If you are from a SAARC country, the permit will only cost you NPR 1000 or 7.50 American dollars.

Our Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Tour package includes both ground and air transportation.  We will arrive at your hotel to meet you and drive you to the airport.  Then you’ll fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu.  If you prefer to go to Pokhara via helicopter, we can organize it for you with an additional fee in the package.

A journey to Annapurna Base Camp by helicopter usually begins at dawn. From Kathmandu, you will leave your hotel at 5:30 AM for the domestic airport where your flight is scheduled. Once the 25-30-minute domestic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara is over, you can take a helicopter ride to Annapurna Base Camp.

The journey will be effortless, and it will take a maximum of 25 minutes of just pure enjoyment of the beautiful views of the mountains and additionally to the base camp.
