Detail Itinerary of Nepal Pilgrimage tour – 8 days
Day 01: Arrival at the “City of Temples” Kathmandu
This is the first day of your 8-day Nepal Pilgrimage tour. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, our company representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. After all security checkups, we’ll transfer to the hotel (3 stars ★★★) in a private vehicle.
Meanwhile, in the evening, our team leader will give you short information about our trip. Afterwards, you may take a short visit around Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly to Pokhara and sight seeing
This is the 2nd day of the Nepal Pilgrimage tour. Today we have sightseeing and pilgrimage visits at Pokhara. After taking an early morning breakfast, we’ll drive to Kathmandu Airport’s domestic terminals.
After 25-30 minutes of flight, we’ll reach Pokhara. Our tour begins with Davis Falls, also known as Patale Chango. It offers a unique white waterfall experience. This place is named after a Swiss woman who drowned in this waterfall. Upon that, we’ll visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which is 10 minutes away from Davis Falls.
After a quick tour of Davis Fall and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, we’ll visit Bindyabasini Temple (worshipping Goddess Durga).
Afterwards, we’ll move to the Tal Barahi Temple, which is located in the middle of Phewa Lake. This site is considered an incarnation of Goddess Durga. We’ll use a water boat to get there. If we are lucky enough, we may witness the Sandhya aarti of Barahi Mandir.
In the evening, we’ll return back to the hotel. Pokhara is a lively and vibrant place for nightlife. You may enjoy your evening at different clubs, live music, or walk and relax by the lakeside.

Day 03: Fly to Jomsom and drive to Muktinath
This is the 3rd day of our Nepal Pilgrimage Tour. After waking up early, we’ll take an early flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. It will take around 15-20 minutes flying time to reach our next destination.
After reaching Jomsom, we’ll rest for a while. Upon that, we’ll drive to Muktinath in a Jeep or a Safari. The distance between Jomson and Muktinath is 23 kilometers. It takes us around 1-2 hours to get there.
Muktinath is a significant holy site that is equally important for Hindus and Buddhists. It is also called the gateway of liberation (Moksha).
The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. At this place, there are 108 water sprouts, also known as Mukti Dhara. It is a belief that cleanses the body and soul and eventually leads to salvation.
After taking blessings and Darshan, we’ll return back to Jomson around 3 P.M. If we have time, we may visit some attractions of this place, which are: Mustang Eco-System, Kali Gandaki Gorge, and Dhumba Lake. We’ll have a night’s stay and dinner at “Hotel Jomsom Pride”.

Day 04: Fly to Pokhara and Drive back to Kathmandu
This is the 4th day of our Nepal pilgrimage tour. After taking an early morning flight, we’ll fly back to Pokhara. Upon reaching there, we’ll have a delicious breakfast at the lakeside restaurant. The distance between Pokhara and Kathmandu is 205 kilometres.
On the way from Pokhara to Kathmandu, we’ll visit Manakamna Temple, also known as “Wish-Granting God”. This place is dedicated to the incarnation of the Goddess “Parvati.” It says, if you ask anything of Manakamna Devi with a clean and pure heart, the goddess will fulfil your every dream. We’ll visit this place from the Cable Car, which takes 10 minutes to reach this place.
You’ll see several peaks from Manakamna temple – Bouddha, Lamjung, and Annapurna II. After spending some good time and taking blessings, we’ll return to Kathmandu.

Day 05: Exploring Kathmandu and Sight Seeing
We have almost completed half of our Pilgrimage trip by visiting Pokhara, Jomsom, Muktinath, and Manakamna Temple. Our tour will continue on the 5th day as well.
After having an early morning breakfast, we’ll drive to the Pashupatinath Temple – a sacred Hindu site dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will wander by seeing the tranquil atmosphere of this place.
Furthermore, its small shrines and architectural beauty are worth exploring. Upon that, we’ll visit to Guheshwari Temple, which is next to the Pashupatinath.
Our next stop is Swayambhunath Temple; it takes around 30 min from Pashupati to reach there. It is the sacred place where Nature, Culture, and Spirituality come together. From the 1970s, it has also been called Monkey Temple. You’ll get striking views of Kathmandu Valley from the top of this place.
In the late afternoon, we’ll visit Maha Bouddha Stupas. After getting here, you’ll observe the giant eyes of Buddha looking from every side of the tour. It symbolizes the all-seeing ability of Lord Buddha.
In the evening, we’ll drive to the Patan Durbar Square, which is 5 kilometres away from the Mahabouddha Stupas. Like other places we visited, it is also enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Patan Durbar Square is a promising place for cultural immersion. It also shows the artistry and architecture of the Newar community people. Here you can visit the Shikhara-style temple – Krishna Mandir (dedicated to Lord Krishna).

Day 06: Travel to Janakpur by Flight, back to Kathmandu
This is the 6th day of the tour. After taking an early morning flight, we’ll reach the holy city of Nepal, also known as the birthplace of Goddess Sita, Janakpur.
After reaching Janakpur airport, we’ll catch an E-Rikshaw to reach Janaki Temple, also known as Nau Lakha Mandir. It takes us around 20-25 min from the local vehicle.
After reaching Janaki Temple, we’ll take blessings from Lord Rama and Sita. You’ll be overwhelmed by seeing the architectural beauty and shrines of the temple.
The temple is visited by thousands of Hindus from all around the world, especially during Vivah Panchami (a divine wedding of Goddess Sita and Rama), which typically falls in early December.
Subsequently, next to this site, we’ll visit Sita-Ram Vivah Mandap. It is a belief that Lord Rama and Sita celebrated their marriage here. The Mandap is worth visiting; the wall of this site incarnation with beautiful Mithila paintings. It is painted by the local household women of Janakpur.
Upon that, we’ll have a delicious Mithila Thali Lunch in the surroundings of this site. After having food, we’ll visit Ram Mandir and Rajdevi Mandir – 10 minutes walking distance from Janaki Temple.
Rajdevi Mandir is a family deity of King Janak, the father of Goddess Sita. During Dashain, Kal Ratri aka Maha Asthami, more than 15,000 goats are sacrificed every year. There are holy ponds named Dhanush and Ganga Sagar, surrounded by this place.
In the late afternoon, we’ll catch a flight from Janakpur airport and return to Kathmandu.

Day 07: Sightseeing at Bhaktapur
Today we’ll have a full-day sightseeing program. After having a morning breakfast, we’ll drive to Bhaktapur in a private vehicle from our hotel.
We start our 7th-day tour by exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square. This place is one of the most anticipated places for tourists and travellers. Upon reaching this place, you’ll be wandering and amazed by seeing the architectural beauty and designs.
The 55 Windows Place (Pachpanne Jhyaal), Nyatopola Temple, Bhairavnatha Temple, and Golden Gate are the major attractions of this square. Around this place, we may also enjoy delicious Newari cuisine and lunch.
After exploring this place, we’ll visit Changu Narayan. It is one of the oldest Hindu temples in the world, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Afterwards, we’ll visit the Kailashnath Lord Shiva statue. The height of this statue is 144 feet long. The Shiva idol holds the Trishul and Damru in his hands.
After that, we’ll move to Doleshwor Mahadev Temple. This site is also dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a belief that the head of this part is located in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, India.
At the end of the day, we’ll return to our hotel. If we have time, we may stroll around Kathmandu streets and shops and buy souvenirs and gifts for our family.

Rajdevi Mandir: Rajdevi Mandir is a family goddess deity of “King Janak” (former ruler and king of Janakpur).
